It is a form of unethical behavior that involves the abuse of power for personal gain. Corruption can take many forms, including bribery, nepotism, embezzlement, and kickbacks. Bribery, the act of offering or accepting bribes, is one of the most common forms of corruption. Nepotism, the practice of favoring family members or friends in the workplace, is another form of corruption. This type of corruption undermines merit-based systems, and it can create a culture of entitlement, where people believe they are entitled to certain privileges based on their connections, rather than th...

Erythropoietic Protoporphyria (EPP)

Erythropoietic Protoporphyria (EPP) is a rare inherited metabolic disorder caused by a deficiency of the enzyme ferrochelatase (FECH), which results from changes (mutations) in the  FECH  gene. This isn’t a widely known disease, because all over the world, there are only about 10,000 people who go through EPP. But even the torment these selected people go through is enough to send shivers down one’s spine.
