Importance of true Friends
We all need someone for whom there will always remain a soft corner in our heart, someone with whom we can share everything, all our feelings of happiness and sorrow. That someone, is someone we call a friend. A friend is the key to that lock, behind which lies all our happiness. A friend is someone who supports us in every walk of our lives. It is often said that a person is known by his/her company and it is also very important that we choose our friends wisely, because if we don't recognize a right friend, its result can be too much hazardous.
People sometimes really commit this mistake, and then they have to suffer through a very painful consequence in their future. When someone faces this situation, he/she forms his/her opinion of friendship as a betrayal. So it is very important that we should keep enough sense to distinguish between what is good and what is bad for us.
We often get confused with the correct definition of a friend, and we think that a friend is someone who will support our every action whether we are right or wrong, but a genuine friend actually means someone who will support us when we are correct but at the same time show us the right direction when we are wrong. We all have many friends, but only a few of them genuinely deserve to be called true friends. A friend is like a family member. Someone once said that a friend is a special flower which god has gifted us in the garden of life. Some people think that they themselves can tackle every situation and that they are so mentally strong that they don’t want anyone to be there for them but it is not possible in every situation because some situations break us so deeply that we cannot handle ourselves alone at that time, and we need a friend to support us. In fact in every relationship, friendship is the first step one takes to begin with, whether that relationship is between husband and wife or brother and sister or parents and children.
That’s why it is very important that we all have that friend in our lives who stands by us in our happiness and sorrow, who scolds us when we are wrong and celebrates with us when we achieve something.
